Eisenhower Fellowships are for emerging US leaders to meet local experts in New Zealand in their field of study. The Eisenhower Fellowships organisation is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and provides fellowships to emerging US leaders to enhance their professional capabilities, broaden their contacts, deepen their perspectives and unite them in a diverse, global community - a network where dialogue, understanding and collaboration lead to a more prosperous, just and peaceful world. Each year they send approximately one dozen high-achieving mid-career (aged 32-45) US citizens abroad for an intensive, individually designed program in the country of their choice. When a fellowship occurs to New Zealand, Fulbright New Zealand provides administration and support.
