Can't make it to Wellington to visit our library or talk with our Educational
Adviser? Each year our Educational Advising Team travel to university
campuses around the country on an Outreach Tour to talk with students
about studying in the US.
To find out more about these university visits see our Outreach
Tour page.
Test
centre
If you plan to study at the undergraduate level in the US, it is most
likely that you will need to submit standardised test scores as part of
the US university admission
requirements.
Fulbright New Zealand offers comprehensive information about required
tests - see the Tests page of our website or
contact our Testing Adviser.
ACT and SAT tests
If you are applying to a university in the US as an undergraduate student
(studying for a bachelor's degree) then you will need to sit either the
ACT or SAT test.
TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGETM
(TOEFL®) Test
The TOEFL test is for students whose native
language is not English. Many universities in the United States (and New
