In February 2007, Fulbright New Zealand
welcomed 19 new American Fulbright graduate students, scholars, Ian
Axford Fellows and Eisenhower Fellows to New Zealand with a week-long
orientation programme. Included in the programme were introductory
lectures on New Zealand's history, culture, politics and natural environment,
as well as visits to Te Papa museum, Waiwhetū marae, Otari-Wilton's
Bush and Parliament.
