Visa requirements and procedures.

Your Visitor Visa will be processed upon your arrival at Auckland International Airport as you go through New Zealand Immigration and Customs. All you need is:

• a valid US passport, and
• details of your departure from New Zealand.

Your visa does not need to be pre-processed before you leave for New Zealand, because US citizens are part of the visa waiver programme to New Zealand which waives the requirement for a visa if the visitor is staying in the country for less than 3 months.

Visa information for any stopovers/side-trips should be confirmed with our travel agent and processed before your arrival in New Zealand.
