2012 Fulbright-Wallace Arts Trust Award recipient Steve Carr’s open studio at Headlands Center for the Arts, April 2013
Set in historic military barracks within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area at the entrance to San Francisco Bay, Headlands Center for the Arts provides an unparalleled environment for the creative process and the development of new work and ideas. Through artists’ residencies and public programmes, they offer opportunities for reflection, dialogue and exchange that build understanding and appreciation for the role of art in society.
The recipient of the 2015 Fulbright-Wallace Arts Trust Award will be honoured along with other winners of Wallace Art Awards in September, and will be eligible to undertake either a Spring residency from March to May 2016, or a Summer residency from June to August 2016, as mutually agreed by the grantee and Headlands Center for the Arts.
Applications for the 2015 Fulbright-Wallace Arts Trust Award close at 5:00pm, Saturday 1 August 2015
