Erena Wikaire (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine, Te Hikutu, Te Kapotai) from Northland, will research traditional Indigenous healing systems at the University of Hawai’i in Oahu, Hawai’i.
Erena graduated with a BHSc from AUT in 2005, a PGDipPH in Māori Health (Hons First Class) in 2014, and an MPH in Māori health (Distinction) in 2016 from the University of Auckland.
